Hey,

Tried to change a ceiling bulb but the MR16 socket went missing.

Have bought a new MR16 socket but there is another piece that does not come with the new MR16 socket. See the photos.

What is this piece called?

The picture shows a two pin connector. Different manufacturers will call it by different names.
In all honesty it would be quicker to change the complete fitting (Or you could use wago connectors instead)
