Monobloc Flexible Tap Hose.

Post by benbo » Sat Sep 19, 2009 10:27 am

I have a Monobloc Tap and hose's to fit.

The female end of the hose contains a rubber washer and I think it would be damaged and leak if I screwed it straight on to a compression fitting.

Do I need some other type of adaptor to protect the rubber seal such as a copper washer and 15mm olive for example?

Thanks!!!

You should by rights use something like

Google "screwfix.com/prods/74541/Plumbing/Compression-Fittings/Conex-Male-Coupler-302-15mm-x-DZR"

and fix the tap tail to the 1/2" threaded end as it is flat and won't damage the washer.
