moving bathroom

by tonytiger33 » Sat Sep 18, 2010 4:11 pm

hi, i am currently moving my bathroom to the back of the house. the toilet will stay on the same outside wall but will be 5.5mtrs away from the existing. I can get enough fall on the pipe to tee into the existing stack and will be putting various boss clips into the top of it for sink, bath and shower.

Will this 5.5mtr distance be ok for a branch?
Will the existing vent be sufficent 5.5mtrs away or should an additional vent be fitted, where the new toilet goes out through the wall?

thanks tony

I'd fit a new vent, either to above gutter or fit a durgo valve.

As long as you've got the correct fall - there shouldn't be a problem
