I'm wanting to move our downstairs bathroom to another part of the house, still downstairs (1900s detatched). This will be a better use of space.
The drain is right next to the current bathroom, where there is a manhole. I assume it then goes under the kitchen extension to join the main sewer on the road in front of our house.
I'm expecting moving bathroom to cause issues with drainage. What are my options with connecting to foul drain? Floor is quarry tile in utility room. Can this be dug up and a new pipe be run under floor if enough slope? Or potentially connect to neighbours drain which might be closer?
Hi thebadger77, If the invert level is deep enough (so you can achieve an adequate fall) you could run a new soil pipe around the outside of your property. Regards S
