Mystery Concrete Slab After Removing Existing Patio

by Kingfish » Wed May 13, 2020 9:13 pm

Hi,

We're wanting to turf our garden, so removed a patio, only to find another patio underneath. I've now lifted the 2nd patio, only to find a 3rd patio - and this mysterious concrete slab. It almost looks like a manhole cover but concrete - but i seem to be able to get underneath it slightly so not sure. It's raised/disconnected from another bit of old path. Anyone got any idea what it could be? Really want to get rid of it and the 3rd patio to get down low enough for turf - but don't dare put the breaker on it.

Problem solved — it was actually the very end of a path that must've gone alongside the house before it was extended.
