Hi all,
We had strong winds and rain last night. My neighbours gutter pipe came unhinged and water basically start to flow directly onto the top frame of my downstairs front room window and started leaking through the frame. We had to remove our blinds because it was so much.
This morning I could see that the water has seeped through down the walls besides and below the window.
What is a reasonable thing to do in this case? I’ve already informed the neighbour of the problem and as we have a very cordial relationship she said she is very sorry and will fix her gutter right away.
I don’t have insurance so is there anything I should do beyond what I have so far?
Any ideas and advice would be really appreciated!
