New Guy ELV lights

by Happy Guy » Sun Sep 12, 2010 10:55 pm

Hi,
I am currently studying to become an electrican (early days) and I have set up a little practice area to get a better understanding of the hands on aspects of my studies.
I have a lighting circuit (working) which I wanted to add a couple of ELV lights to as a separate project.
There are two ELV down lights with their own transformers. A light switch and a junction box (10A).
I have followed the instructions and diagrams but I must have got something wrong because when I switch the ELV lights on the next light in the circuit glows dimly. Plus, if I turn that light on the ELV lights don’t work at all.
I am probably missing something very simple here but can’t seem to see it.
Any help would be appreciated.
