New Plasterboard Skimmed and Painted but Grey Patch Visible?

Post by CarlosUK » Sat Jun 20, 2015 4:56 pm

Hi,

I've recently had all the walls completed plaster boarded and skimmed and now I've done the first coat of paint to seal it.

The whole of the room looks fine and has painted well however as you can see in the picture there is a part of the wall that has a grey patch.

Now that part had a channel that wasn't boarded where the pipes run down for the central heating so the channel was fill in with plaster.

Not sure if that has anything to do with it but just mentioning it.

I have noticed a similar bit like this along an edging but nothing like the picture,

I'm thinking it can't be anything to do with the paint as all the other walls are fine.

Hoping it's ok and I can just carry on painting.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Carlos

Morning,

Just been down to look at this and the patch has now gone.

So thinking it was a bit of moisture maybe that has dried up.

Who knows :)
