I Purchased a small adjustable wall light for my summerhouse from Amazon. It came from China and does not have an earth wire fitted to it . It is in a metal casing, does not appear to be double insulated and has no reference re specs etc. I have twin and earth cabling supplying it. Would it be ok for me to Earth the light fitting by fixing a piece of earth wire to one of the screws in the light fitting and connecting it to the power cable Earth terminal .
