probably needs a replacement diaphragm in the pressure differential valve.

This located at the bottom left of the boiler - just behing the CH/HW selector switch, drop the front panel and when the hot tap is opened the pin should come out and operate the microswitch - if the pin doesn't come out change the diaphragm.

Do I need to turn water off or is there any water in the system I need to drain, before attempting this.

You need to isolate the cold water, and drop the pressure from the boiler.

Check first - with the hot water tap on - does the pin come out ???

Have you tried resetting the boiler after the fan light came on ? turn to reset and hold for 5 seconds then let go.

If it's a Baxi HE - it'll probably be a air pressure switch at fault - not the fan
