No power to one room and another wall in the kitchen

by buck123 » Tue Apr 17, 2007 2:11 am

woke up this morning with no power in our spare room and no power on one wall in our kitchen, which is off of the spare room. We checked all of the outlets and light switches and lights, no power coming into any of them and all wires look ok. Any suggestions?

is this an extention to house?
it seems strange to lose power & lights in one area unless been fed via fused spur somewhere or local add on Con. Unit!
come back with discription of bldg around kitchen area & will try to suggest answers...

Be afraid..Be very afraid...
Seriously I would get wiring checked for loose connections. If mobile is it a 'Park Home' type rather than large caravan type?
Some homes have small loft area with hatch and central junction boxes just inside, most wired from below, but to lose lights & power very odd unless lights fed from power via fused spur, sorry can't be more help, but circuit breakers / fuses don't reset/repair themselves.....
