i moved into a flat with storage heating and the the hot water taps were only running tepid.
Someone from british gas had a look and replaced a faulty thermostat.
he said the element was functioning correctly.
thing is, now the water is freezing, much worse than before.
i'm assuming i'm on an economy seven tariff, but would it matter anyway?
selecting 'boost' on the timer makes no difference
both the heater switches are on and the clock and timer are set to the correct time
is it something to do with the switch? whay would it get worse after the thermostat was replaced?
There could be several faults here including a faulty thermostat so you need to get the BG engineer back to trace the new fault or correct his mistake.
