Hi,

I am looking to open up the under stairs space on the right hand side of the pic below. Followed by enclosing the whole space as a cupboard.

Does anyone have advice on the best way to go about creating the cupboard and door?

My current thinking is to create a door jamb (right of the picture as viewed) attached to floor and upper under stairs by brackets!?

Door would then be attached to the existing wall on the left, closing to the new jamb.

New (right as viewed) wall of the cupboard would then be ply/similar attached to the stairs.

Any thoughts appreciated.
