Order When Repressurising Boiler and Bleeding Radiators

by TS45 » Tue Sep 26, 2017 11:24 am

Have switched off my entire boiler/CH system to paint and decorate behind all rads.
Removed all rads and have reattached them.
Was wondering if anyone could advise me on the process of TOPPING UP PRESSURE AND BLEEDING RADS in order to get my pressure back to 1.5
I have the gist of re-pressuring using the filling key by slightly confused over order.
Do I first SWITCH ON entire system and check pressure (expect that it has dropped – there is nothing on my boiler menu as it is switched off – i suppose i need to reset it – I do have a A21 fault code on my thermo box on wall)
THEN top up a bit using filling key
THEN bleed each rad and return to boiler to repressurise after working on rads individually?
I also assume that I need to set my TVRs back to 4/5 and open up all LOCKSHIELD VALVES.
Many thanks
