Output of boiler?

Post by Katebendall » Tue Jan 27, 2009 12:44 pm

A plumber has just asked me to tell him the output of my boiler (and says it will be written on it somewhere). I have a Glow worm Fuelsaver MK2. Does anyone know what output this would give? (i'm not sure whether each model only produces one possible output or whether they come in different outputs). Thanks

Katebendall,
There should be a number after Glowworm 30,50 or similar. If not open the front panel and see if there is a specification label inside.

Hi Kate,

This figure will be on the data plate on the boiler and also in the manual.
Failing that ring Hepworth heating in Derbys they will tell you.
Also why does the plumber need to know?

I asked the plumber for an estimate of how much it would cost to replace the boiler and he wanted to know the specifics of my current boiler.

Thanks for the info - i'll go and check.
