I'd like to know whether its generally okay to paint wooden floorboards immediately after pulling up carpet, or if advisable to sand floors down first?
I'm about to buy a flat and am unsure about the state of the floorboards beneath the carpet... If I can avoid the cost of sanding back first would be preferable.. Any advice would be appreciated!
