hi, I have a house that is 4 years old with light emulsion paint on the walls. i painted some rooms and they have three coats of light colour paint over this, you can see the cutting in lines, even with the three coats. We use candles in the front rooms and i can only think these are making black marks in the new paint going on ? Any ideas before i paint the hallway ?
Not sure if I understand your problem but if it is the cutting in you are able to see , then this would be normal as it is a different texture to a roller ,try cutting in first then rollering as close as you can to ceilings walls sockets etc. some paints such as silk show this up more than others .
