Painting over permanent marker pen on walls

Children have used walls as large art project using permanent marker pen! What is best way of dealing with this when redecorating?

Hi Mike hine,
Depends on the type of marker but you will have to apply a number of coats of a stain block paint. You may well have to vary successive coats with solvent and water based stain block.
