Patching a [small] Hole

by IGGt » Sat Jun 23, 2012 4:41 pm

Hi, in the course of fixing a light fitting on the ceiling, I have managed to damage some of the plaster, so that there is now a small hole (apx 1 inch square) by the side of my light fitting.

What is the easiest way to fill the hole? On a wall I would just use filler and build up various layers, but I don't think that'll work on a ceiling, as it would probably just drip out. Also it's right next to the light fitting, so don't really want to use anything wet.

regards,

for that size hole you can use polyfiller in a tube, just squirt it in and smooth it over,Just switch off the fuse for safety.
