So I’m looking at renovating my back yard in my new home. I’m looking to deck half of the concrete yard, but then I’m looking to pave the rest.
The current issue I have is the concrete is uneven, and slopes towards two drains next to the house rather than away from it. In addition, at one end of the slab it is very close 10cm away from the DPC.
I was just wondering if anyone has any tips for renovation (best to gravel and create a path or full pave, how close to go to the DPC) or he’s done something similar in the past as trying to keep down cost where possible.
