Phone and Internet Cable Protection for Running Down Garden

by nijomo » Thu Nov 06, 2014 9:59 am

Hi
I have an office in my garage which is separate from my house and I have recently had telephone and Internet cables connected, running from the house to the office, distance about 20 metres. It is above ground, so I realise the cabling needs some kind of protection. I may bury parts of it where I can. Can anyone tell me what is best to use to protect this amount of cabling and where from?
Thanks.

There are cables designed to go under ground in the main using that type of cable you use a pipe where it goes under a drive or path but simple sand and ID tape above else where.

Cable not designed for under ground use is simple not berried. Any cable for out door use is normally black to resist UV so if not black likely not the right cable.
