Pipe Size From new Boiler to Bath and Other Hot Water Outlets

Post by mark3081 » Thu Mar 05, 2015 3:25 pm

Hi.
I'm having a combi boiler fitted in a house that has never had one, nor a Central heating system for that matter. Anyway a gas engineer is fitting the boiler and installing the central heating system, but I wanted to do the DHW. I'm not a plumber, just an enthusiastic Diy'er. So I would like to know if it is ok to use 15 mm pipe to all the hot water outlets, specifically the bath.
Regards.

Hi mark3081

In most, but not all cases, 15mm is OK. But can't you discuss this with your gas engineer, after all, he is going to have to take responsibility for the system he is designing.
