water overfow flowing,,,,,, looked in main cold water tank and hot water appears to be coming in from a bottom pipe.! normal? thanx

This is totally normal for the hot water to be comin from the bottom pipe the ball valve may be faulty if it is just replace it and the water level will return to normal if the ball valve is not faulty then try adjusting it to about an inch below the over flow pipe orrifice this should rectify the problem.

NOTE: if the ball valve is faulty then it will be submerged in water or the water will be dirty.

thanx.... seems to have sorted it self, but will replace ball valve as it does look past its best... ta
