Polishing scratches out

Post by tsb » Fri Jul 25, 2008 4:14 pm

Hi, is there a way of polishing scratches out of toughened glass. I've seen some secondhand glass shelves-10mm thick, but are scratched in places where objects have been. The glass is cheap enough for a job I have in mind for my house but not suitable if its all scratched. Any ideas would be appreciated.

you could try jewellers rouge this is used in glass manufacture but depends on how bad scratches are
