positive/negative shower head pumps

by mark95 » Tue Apr 07, 2009 11:27 pm

Hi, we've gone up in the roof and now have the master bedroom and en-suite away from the kids. In the main bathroom we have a positive head shower pump which works fine. the en-suite requires a negative head pump as the head is above the water tank, is there a pump that will power both types of shower. O r should i invest in a seperate pump for the new shower? It's just not fair that the kids get a pulsing shower and we only get a dribble.
Cheers
Mark

Salamander make dual pos/neg head pumps in their ESP range:

Google "salamanderpumps.co.uk/Products/ESP_Pumps.htm"

But personally I'd fit two pumps one for each shower, each separately fed so that the two can be run at the same time. That does, of course, assume that your CWST and HW cylinder have sufficient storage to enable two showers to be run at the same time.

Cheers
