Put Oil/Solvent Based Wood Protector on new Cabin

by Katrina100 » Sun Jun 30, 2019 9:15 pm

I've gone & put a coat of Berretine oil/solvent based wood protector on my newly built garden cabin and Then read you can't paint over it!
I was hoping to paint it as don't want it looking like a sauna.
Is there anything I can do as apparently paint now won't stick to it!

Sand it, prime it, paint it...

Surely that's your only option?
