Potential pump failure

by worzel123 » Tue Dec 16, 2008 5:12 pm

My central heating system has failed. My investigation found that a 2 Amp fuse in the central heating junction box had blown. I replaced fuse and blew immediately. I have unplugged the pump and the fuse does not blow. Downstairs radiators were cold last week so I upped the pump speed which rectified problem. Has the pump now given up?

Hi Worzl,

Check the wiring under the cover (with power of), but sounds like it.
