The pull cord light in my garage only works intermittently particularly when turning it off. I often have to climb up a stepladder to pull it close to the top and even that can take several attempts. I have unscrewed the cover and removed any dust and fluff but it made no difference. Can anyone suggest what is likely to be causing it to work sometimes but not others?
Thanks for your response. A new one is cheap enough to buy anyway but I wanted to check first if there was any other likely cause of the problem. Your advice is appreciated.
