Question about fitting Quick Step.

by rps » Thu Dec 06, 2007 9:19 pm

Hi,

Can anyone recommend the best underlay to use on a floorboards (timber 22mm T&G)? I am going to be using Quick Step 800.

Read a few comment about trimming the bottom of the skirting etc to allow the flooring to run underneath, what tool would do this? Been racking my brains on thsi one

Anyone any comments about Quck Step.

Thanks in advanced.

RPS.

hi

i layed quick step perspective 950 in our loung and dining room.

we used quicksteps own underlay, i got their saw that allows you to cut under the door frame so the flooring slots between the floor and door frame.

i used their beading to hide the gap between skirting and flooring, you must keep a gap there for expansion.

hope this helps
