Radiator bleed key for older radiators

Postby Kittikat76 » Sun Oct 02, 2022 2:04 pm

Moved in to new house. Built in the 50s. Currently draining/clearing sludge from radiators upstairs. But they're old ones, different size bleed screw needed. Can someone please tell me which one I need? the valves are on the back of these single radiators. Thanks!

Hi kittikat76,
A standard size key should be ok but you may need to file the end because some keys are internally chamfered which stops the key locating on the bleed bolt.
