radiator removal

Post by dnj » Tue Jul 27, 2010 8:27 pm

Hi all,

I am looking to remove the radiators in the living room as they are never used and in the way.

I know how to remove a radiator but my problem is the radiators have hoses coming from a small plastic unit on the wall behind them. My problem is can the valves be removed from the hoses and be capped off and hidden out of site (the hoses push into and pull out of the plastic unit) or am I stuck with radiators I don't want/need?

My flat is a new build and I have never come across this style of radiator pipes before so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

sounds like your stuck, as i can't think of the radiator valves you are referring too. i wouldn't like to stick push fit caps on the pipes and then bury them, just in case they leak at a later date, you would have to tear them all out again
