Raised patio drainage help / advice required

Postby woodhall77 » Wed Jun 01, 2022 12:13 pm

Hi,

Newbie DIY enthusiast here. Any help appreciated.

I am about to put down the Type 1 base factoring in a slope (red arrows in the picture) towards the front of the patio. That will mean the slabs at the front (nearest) will be c. 4-5cm below the top of the railway sleeper.

Therefore, my question is what should i do about drainage to avoid the water collecting at the front?

I.e. best options for a newbie DIYer?

Thanks
