Re-charging a combi boiler

by Bryan Taylor » Sun Jan 27, 2008 6:15 pm

I have a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 24i junior Combi Boiler.
Due to bleeding the radiators the pressure has dropped to approx 0.5 bar.
How do I re-fill the system?
There is a white plastic key which I have put in place and managed 1/2 turn (is this correct)?
What do I do next?
Many thanks
Bryan.

There should be a tap to turn - normall grey hexagonal head. Turn anti-clockwise like a tap and you will here the water flow. Pressurise to 1.0 and vent radiators to ensure all air is out of system.

The pressure should be set to between 1.0 and 1.5 bar.

The tap is normally to the 3 or 4 inches to the left of where the white key is inserted.

Hope this helps
