Removal of Custom Built Desk

by dflack_2000 » Tue Jun 05, 2018 7:49 pm

Hi,

I'm looking to remove a custom built desk that is fixed to the wall and has a supporting pole from ground to ceiling.

The problem is that I can't see how the pole is fixed in place to remove it without damaging the floor or ceiling.

None of the sections of the pole seem to twist off or have any screw holes that I can see.

Pictures are attached for reference.

All help gratefully received.

Thanks.

I think if it was me Id saw through the middle somewhere and go from there.

Chances are there one screw screw somewhere in the top and you probs will need a little filler afterwards. Much the same with the floor Im guessing.

This wouldnt be a plan to g with if you want to reassemble it of course
