by barnacle bill » Fri Mar 12, 2010 5:12 pm

Hello all,

I have some grey silicon around my bathroom and would like to remove it to re-grout.
What is the best way to remove it and leave no trace.
I have a silicon removal tool but it leaves some behind how do i get the rest off?
White spirit doesn't work please help.
Thank you in advance.

You can buy silicon removal gel. Basically it is put on and left to work, when it's removed the silicon comes with it.

I don't know what those in the trade use but this stuff can be found in the DIY sheds next to the silicon.
