Hi. Does anyone know how to remove a paper border of the self-adhesive type, please? I have pulled off the top layer of the paper but a steam stripper has no effect on the glue. It is stuck onto emulsion paint which I don't want to damage too much if I can avoid doing so (although, I've already pulled the paint off in several places in my futile attempts to shift the border!). I guess I'll have to experiment with various solvents, which is going to be messy and smelly, unless anyone knows of an easier way. Thanks.
Using a steam stripper with a sticky back border is no good, the heat makes the glue worse, get a scraper with a stanley blade on the end and scrape off with that but dont dig into the wall
