Post by angela » Sat Oct 20, 2007 11:11 am

How can I get rid of all paste from very old difficult to remove wall-papered wall before painting wall. Its plasterboard and even the original coat of paint seems to have become like old copydex. I don't really want the expense of replastering Any ideas please

Hi guys, thanks for your replies, yes its been skimmed---very thin though but think I can repair sufficiently and yes had reached conclusion that probably sugar soap and elbow grease were now the requirements---still cheaper tho than plasterer! One of these days am going to learn how to plaster more than square foot or two!!! Cheers
