I have a 1960's bungalow which has a slope in the back garden. The rear enclosed ground drain from the roof gutter down pipe is blocked as before I owned the property someone decided to put a brick flower bed next to the drain, the roots from the bed have blocked the drain. I've been trying to unblock it with drain cleaner and a Karcher drain clearer hose and only managed to get about 8 inches past the bend, the water is draining but very slowly, any ideas on what I can use to get out the compacted roots? Also I'm assuming I've got a soak away as I've put a hose down the other 2 down pipes and they drain OK but they're not connected to the main bathroom /kitchen drain (had inspection cover up).
