Hello, We laid a porcelain patio at the weekend. Obviously this is quite a messy job. After each tile was laid I wiped it clean. While neighbouring tiles were laid (or even tiles 2 rows away) mortar would splatter onto the previous tiles. Ideally I'd have hosed them down but obviously did not want to get the mortar wet. At the time I was concerned I was smearing the mortar and it wasn't coming off but I could not see another option.
5 days on and we still can't get the mortar off. We have tried brick and mortar remover for patios and scrubbing and most of it won't budge.
From what I know mortar is soft and porcelain is supposed to be non porous so I am surprised to see this is such a huge problem. Is there anything I can do? Pressure washer?
