Hi, I'm removing paint from a windowsill using a heat gun. Underneath is a residue that melts under the gun and becomes very sticky but is very stubborn to remove. (I have no idea what it is, somebody mentioned varnish, but I'm not sure)
I was wondering what the best way to remove this stuff would be. I used an orbital sander but it's taking its time and feel like their maybe a product that clears this better.
