Removing the Pier to my Neighbours Wall

Post by Norwich33 » Sat Feb 11, 2017 7:30 pm

Hi guys. Some help would be great. The between my neighbours house and mine is owned by my neighbour. It is one brick wide and has a two brick wide pier at the end which is in my property. When I brought the house there was a gate attached to it but I have removed it. My plan is to take down the entire front wall to allow for 2 car parking. The brick pier could of been originally built by the previous owner and my neighbour has built a new wall onto it using it for support. I do have pictures but they are to big to upload.

Can I remove this brick pier?

Would I need to replace it as this is supporting the wall?
