by Vinesh » Mon Aug 13, 2007 8:19 pm

I have tried all sorts of way to remove the internal UPVC beading. I have taken some pics of the bead.

Someone please help!!

I have read the weak point is the midle. Will this flat blade chisel do?

Yes it will be fine. Push the blade into the join between bead and frame and twist slightly. You may have to use another blade to hold the bead up when you have twisted, while you re-insert the first one. Its a bit tricky but becomes much easier as you get used to it. The hard part is getting them back in again. See our project on double glazing.
