Hi, I’m renovating an old house I own currently and there is a hole in the upstairs bathroom coming through from the ceiling.
The ceiling is made of the old style lath & plaster materials, which I know is notorious for being an absolute mess to re do.
Based on the pic attached, what do you think is the best way to go around re doing the ceiling? Will patching over the hole work or will it need to be a whole new ceiling for that room, don’t want to start pulling down tiles & plaster for the whole thing to come down on me...
Any advice would be appreciated.
