Repair to ridge tiles (is cement dry?)

by LHG291 » Wed Feb 16, 2022 2:14 pm

Hi all, we have just had one of our ridge tiles cemented back in place after coming off, and all of the rest re-cemented too. They did the job this morning around 9:30-ish, then about 1 hour later it started raining quite heavy and has continued. Might be a stupid question, but is this likely to have affected the cement/integrity of the work done? Thanks in advance!

Hi LHG219
Yes if the rain was heavy, you will soon know how badly the mortaring has been damaged by streams of mortar stain down the roof.
