It very much depends on the amount of cables at that ceiling rose. If possible, unscrew the ceiling rose front & take a picture of the cables inside. But it sounds like you will have to remove this rose to install the new light.

Hi, no picture showing. Many others have had the same thing when showing pictures. I don't know what size, but i think the forum will only except images under a certain KB. But in saying this, there are many things that don't work on this forum & its a real pain. Thats apart for having to wait up to 24 hours to get replies from post because they are monitored. I thought a forum meant open discussion??. But please try again with a reduced image
Mark the cables with an indelible pen, take a couple of clear in focus pictures, then use "Wago connectors" (Get them from screwfix / electrical wholesaler) and use those instead of a ceiling rose, and if you put them in a wago box, you can poke the lot up into the ceiling, so you will only be left with a 3 core flex (That you purchased with the wagos) that you connect your new light to.
