Replacement CH & HW boiler

by James Macdonald » Tue Mar 10, 2009 4:36 pm

I am replacing a very old Potterton boiler which was under the work top in the kitchen and vented to an outside wall. The CH Engineers tell me that modern boilers cannot fit in this space and are suggesting that it must be installed somewhere else which happens to be very unsightly and inconvenient and expensive.

Are they right?

What boiler is in ?
What boiler are you going to replace it with ?
Type of existing system ?
Type of new system ? (combi etc)
