Replacing a lock & handle on a UPVCwindow

Post by SarahP » Wed Dec 01, 2010 10:34 pm

Hi,
Can you replace a lock & handle on a UPVC window?

The actual handle has come off & the window isnt lockable. I would just like to know if & how this can be fixed before I go gettng a new window. I have seen you can buy the individual mechanisms & handles so presume you can but how on earth would you go about doing it??

Many Thanks.
Sarah

Hi

Sorry about the delayed response. Here is the answer to your question.....

You most certainly can.

It is normally a very simple process.

You have probably fixed your window by now, sorry I could not help sooner,

Kind regards
