Replacing a tarmac drive with self binding gravel

Post by nickyberg » Wed Mar 26, 2008 1:59 pm

We had our tarmac drive replaced with a mixture of self binding gravel /hoggin. This was done just before Xmas 2007. It does not drain very well and in heavy rainfalls, there are many little puddles which will eventually drain away. Is there any thing else we can put on the surface to assist drainage - pea shingle for example? Appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

Get the contractor back to sort the drainage problem he has left you with.

Cheers
