Hello I need to replace a towel radiator. I have measured the pipe centres of the existing rad which is 560mm, for a 600mm wide rad. All the replacements I see are advertised as having a pipe centre of 550mm. Is this just a standard quote made by all towel rad manufacturers ? Or should I accept it will the centres will be narrower than my 15 year old towel rad ? If indeed the specs are correct, then is there an adapter I can get to take up the 5mm each side ? I could get the pipe work altered, but would prefer not to, as the pipes come out of the wall and don’t want to risk unsoldering anything inside the wall.
