Morning everyone! I hope you are all safe and well. I did a quick search of this topic and nothing came up but my apologies if this has already been covered.
Cleaning out the shower dome and I noticed the upper seal, around the dome and inner section, is corroding. It looks like it is - or was - a type of putty. Perhaps Plumber's Mait? Have people used this before and is this relatively straight forwards? Most of my Google searches resulted in answers or conversations about silicone or rubber seals rather than putty like substances.
Apologies in advance for any stupid questions or ignorance. Learning as I go! Any tips or advice would be much appreciated. Please and thank you.
